Where the headboard meets the soul of the room

Even the largest apartments often have bedrooms that are anything but generous in size, requiring us to design the wall behind the bed in an eye-catching, scenic way at times, in order to recreate unusual perspectives and details to escape the banality. Whether or not there is a headboard, what happens behind and around the bed really makes a difference.

A retreat within your home, where the bed is the heart of calm and coomfort…

Praise for the sommier bed: sometimes even the largest rooms love the sommier: it allows you to design a solution that is functional and at the same time with the inclusion of light becomes a characterizing element capable of creating a relaxed atmosphere and neutral enough to allow us to play with some accents, in terms of finishes, furnishings and fabrics.

Introducing natural textures

The use of natural materials adds a tactile richness that brings warmth, perspective depth and authenticity to any space.

Evoking natural spaces with vintage graphics

Antique graphics can also evoke natural spaces: the color accent of the birds counterpointing the background provides us with a decorative cue: on a more neutral base if we wish, we can insert accent complements and accessories.

Overlapping game

The headboard of the bed, upholstered in fabric coordinated with the bedding rests on a minimalist paneling, which has the valuable function of being able to accommodate reading lamps or integrate wall lightings: played in dark colors to echo the floor makes the bed, even the simplest one, inevitably protagonist.

When it lacks some depth…

A photograph of exteriors, preferably a perspective, printed on wallpaper helps recreate the proportions of a shallow room: throw pillows coordinated with the bed frame fabric help support the pillows by recovering the headboard effect.
